Siddartha










Siddharth Narayan, who made his debut in Boys, has established himself as an actor, director, writer and also a playback singer. 

Basics
Siddharth was born on April 17, 1979 in Tamil Nadu, India. 
He finished his schooling from DAV Boy's Senior Secondary, Chennai and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Delhi and college from Kirori Mal College, New Delhi and holds a B.Com Degree. 
Siddharth was always interested in debating and theater and always took part in Debate competitions. He was also part of a college theater group The Players. He finished his MBA from S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai and in 1999 was the "CNBC Manager of the Year".

Movies 
Siddharth has done many Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies. He was the assistant director for Kannathil Muthamittal by Mani Ratnam and then was offered the role of Shankar for the Tamil movie Boys which proved to be a big hit. Then he worked in Mani Ratnam’s Ayutha Ezhuthu and also in Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana with Prabhu Deva, for which he received first Filmfare Best Actor award. Siddharth also wrote the screenplay of Chukkallo Chandrudu and also sang the songs of the movie.

Siddharth has played a very good role in Rang De Basanti as Karan Singhania and also received the Star Screen Best Male Debut award. His Telugu film Bommarillu brought him a lot of success and he received the Filmfare Best Actor Award. He has also worked for a short film Blood Brothers, with the director Vishal Bharadwaj.

He is playing a lead role in Oye by Anand Ranga where he will be seen opposite  Shamili. His movie Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam received good response from the audience and now we will see him in his next Bollywood release Striker.
